One-Time-Username is the simple solution to prevent confusion in your community, since it blocks the use of previously used usernames, after they become available for others, e.g. due to deletion or after renaming of users. One-Time-Username also manages the list of blocked usernames for you, it will automatically unblock them after the configured amount of time!
Immediately ready for use
One-Time-Username is ready for use immediately after installation and starts to block freed-up usernames. You do not have to worry about dozens of settings.
Even if One-Time-Username is ready for use immediately after installation, you have still control over its actions. You can change the time span of blocking, you can get an overview over all blocked usernames (time of expiry included) and you are able to unblock usernames manually if you want to.
No matter how a username will become available: One-Time-Username is informed about it. May it be users renaming themselves, a user being deleted or another extension editing an username, One-Time-Username will make their usernames unavailable for others. To ensure that the usernames will be blocked everywhere One-Time-Usernames uses the built in function “Reserved Usernames”.
